Melissa is very involved in various philanthropic organizations that support social justice, children, and the performing arts. She serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors for Fostering Change for Children and also serves as a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council. She has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Northeastern University, and a Masters in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from New York University. She resides in New York City with her husband Jason.
